Taste: Something to savour

A few of our favourite things, shared with you.
Perhaps two sweets found you. Perhaps only the card did. Either way, this is a small invitation to pause, taste and discover.
What found you?
Mango Bite
A bright little mango-flavoured sweet and a familiar Indian favourite. We chose it because something tiny and uncomplicated can still change the mood of an ordinary afternoon.
Melody
A chocolatey caramel sweet with the sort of nostalgic charm that needs no ceremony. Unwrap, pause, enjoy.
Only the card?
Then the recipe is your insert. Start with one of our quick vegetarian ideas below.
Two little favourites
If two wrapped sweets arrived, one is for now and one is to share - or save for later.
No judgement from us.
Mango, mint & chaat toasts
Vegetarian | Serves 2 | 10 minutes | 5 ingredients
- 1 ripe mango
- 4 slices sourdough
- 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 small handful fresh mint
- Toast the sourdough and cut each slice in half.
- Dice the mango, then toss it with the lime juice and chaat masala.
- Spoon over the toast and finish with torn mint.
Two Paisleys note: add the topping at the last moment so the toast stays crisp.
Cranberry paneer chaat bites

- 225g paneer
- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil

A quick Christmas nibble: familiar cranberry, sharpened with lime and chaat masala.
